ZenTrak Alarms will enable your managers and team leaders to see issues and investigate them quickly and effectively.  Alarms enable you to implement automated oversight to ensure policies and workflow changes are being followed.

No busy manager will have the time to pour over reports of user activity unless they have reason to believe there is an issue to address.

Alarms look for out of the ordinary activity such as spending too much time on social media, inactivity, or using the wrong, unlicensed or end of life applications.  What’s more, these alerts can be tuned for your sector or specific business or department.  For instance the marketing teams may spend longer on social media than someone in accounts; ZenTrak enables you to cater for this.

Alarm setting is quick and easy.

For instance, where you are worried about unauthorised data sharing outside your company alerts can be configured for Dropbox and Google Drive so managers can see who is sharing information and also what they are sharing. Furthermore, you can add a risk score to the alarms so that certain activities can score more or less undesirably than others leaving you with a truly powerful reporting system.

Alarms can also be used to compare outside factors such as like weather, a new office location, or the start of a new sports season to better understand productivity.

As with the rest of the system where your managers are only responsible for a subset of staff; access to alerts can be restricted so that they can focus and oversee their department without having access to other areas of the business they do not need to see.

Send Alarm Notifications to Slack or Microsoft Teams

ZenTrak’s alarms feature allows the ability to set webhooks or external notifications as a means for the app to send automated information to other apps.

• Configure alarm triggers to send notifications to channels in popular messaging tools – Slack and/or Microsoft Teams – or a custom webhook URL.

• Notifications will contain all the pertinent alarm information to take immediate action as needed.

Respond to Alarms via Automated Actions

Configure automated actions to triggered alarms to better manage and report on alert activities of interest including: 

• Capture screenshots to drill-down into exactly what happened with better understanding of context and intent. 

• User activity notifications with a pop-up message or email. 

• User risk scores with severity levels to understand activities out of compliance with company policies.

• Terminated applications upon access or specific time period which have unwanted or potentially risky activity
