What does Windows 10 mean to my business?

What’s new?

With Microsoft’s latest offering being described as the “most comprehensive platform ever,” Windows 10 promises to offer a unique experience for all hardware devices across a single platform family. Windows 10 will benefit IT users and staff as they will be able to take advantage of new features that boost productivity, such as Multi Desktop View, in an experience that is familiar to using their current Windows 7 or 8.1 Workstation.

What should I do?

While the message from Microsoft encourages users to upgrade to Windows 10 quickly, Zenzero’s recommendation to Businesses interested in upgrading their workstations is to take time to consider how this impacts their current systems. Taking advantage of free Microsoft License offer by completing the upgrade before June 2016 is recomended, but don’t jump in without correct planning. Although it may appear to be a straightforward process, there are many factors that need to be considered in advance, such as compatibility of Business Applications, Server Polices and external integrations such as CRM systems, in order to avoid any disruption.
