Zenzero have a wealth of experience in delivering different solutions to many different types of organisations. Here are some examples of solutions we have delivered:
Gideon Hillman Consulting
Gideon Hillman Consulting (GH) established in 2004, is now one of the UKs leading Supply Chain and Logistics Consultancies with their head office based in Royal Leamington Spa. Before engaging with Zenzero, GH were using Google for their email platform, WebEx for screen sharing amongst the team and customers and various other software for sharing documents amongst the team which also proved challenging. As none of these individual solutions offered the functionality needed for this growing business. GH engaged with Zenzero to help them to migrate to the Microsoft hosted Office 365 e-mail platform, implement SharePoint for document sharing and deploy Lync for better communication. This new solution was implemented over a weekend to reduce impact to the business and now provides a cost effective single platform for staff members to effectively collaborate with each other and clients. Office 365 was deployed in April 2014 by Zenzero who then took on the ongoing support and management of the IT systems for the business.
Grassform, who are based in Essex supply, install and maintain grass reinforcement & ground protection products, as well as land drainage & sports surfaces. Due to an upturn in business Grassform needed to invest in their IT Systems to support business growth. The existing infrastructure was coming to the end of its usable life so Zenzero were engaged in December 2013 to make recommendations about the right systems, software and hardware that would deliver the right functionality and performance. Due to limitations of available bandwidth at the Grassform offices Office 365 was not a viable option, therefore the refresh
project consisted of a new server running SBS 2011 and replacing a number of PC’s that were running the XP operating system. The solution was installed at the start of 2014 and is now managed on an ongoing basis by the support team at Zenzero
Based in Chelmsford, Javalin are one of the leading Network Infrastructure and Audio Video Solutions installers in the South of England. The existing infrastructure was coming to the end of its usable life so Zenzero were engaged in December 2013 to make recommendations about the right systems, software and hardware that would deliver the required functionality and performance. The refresh project consisted of a new server running SBS 2011 and replacing a number of PC’s that were running the XP operating system. The solution was installed at the start of 2014 and is now managed on an ongoing basis by the support team at Zenzero. As part of the project all existing e-mail and file data was migrated away from the old server, a hardware firewall appliance was implemented and RWW (Remote Web Workplace) was configured. In addition to all the benefits achieved by running the latest applications such as Office 2013 a real benefit of the new system is that the team can now work as effectively from home as they can in the office, leading to a much better work-life balance for the staff.
Spatial Design Architects
Spatial Design Architects are a RIBA Chartered Practice located in Brentwood, Essex and within the South-east of England serving London and Home Counties. Towards the end of 2013 the IT infrastructure that had served the business well was starting to cause a few frustrations with performance and functionality. Zenzero were engaged to replace the file server and move the e-mail from a hosted IMAP platform to an Exchange service on site in the Brentwood office. A new physical server was supplied on which Microsoft SBS was 2011 installed. Microsoft Exchange, Remote Web Workplace and My Documents redirection were all implemented to provide the functionality required by the business. As well as the new serer a number of PC’s were upgraded to run the latest Windows operating system. The solution was successfully implemented in early 2014 by Zenzero who then took on the ongoing support and management of the IT systems for Spatial Design.
Enable East is an innovative, independent NHS team that assists other health and social care organisations to deliver effective projects and measurable improvements. Their IT infrastructure consisted of two physical servers, one of which was running the SBS 2003 operating system. As both servers were coming to the end of their usable life Zenzero were engaged to make recommendations about the right systems, software and hardware that would deliver the required functionality and performance. The result was that Zenzero implemented a new Dell server running Microsoft Server 2012 R2. The server utilised Microsoft Hyper V technology to allow different roles to be ran on the same physical hardware including the domain controller and Remote Desktop Services. At the time the new server was deployed and SBS 2003 was decommissioned the e-mail service was migrated to Office 365. The solution was installed in April 2014 and is now managed on an ongoing basis by the support team at Zenzero.
