Enable East is an innovative, independent NHS team that assists other health and social care organisations to deliver effective projects and measurable improvements. Their IT infrastructure consisted of two physical servers, one of which was running the SBS 2003 operating system. As both servers were coming to the end of their usable life Zenzero were engaged to make recommendations about the right systems, software and hardware that would deliver the required functionality and performance. The result was that Zenzero implemented a new Dell server running Microsoft Server 2012 R2. The server utilised Microsoft Hyper V technology to allow different roles to be ran on the same physical hardware including the domain controller and Remote Desktop Services. At the time the new server was deployed and SBS 2003 was decommissioned the e-mail service was migrated to Office 365. The solution was installed in April 2014 and is now managed on an ongoing basis by the support team at Zenzero
